IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR BRONZE GLOVES
Please note that the Bronze Gloves is open to Junior, Youth and Senior male boxers with 2-7 bouts and females with 0-7 bouts.
Junior B & C boxers with 0-8 bouts will be eligible for Alberta Winter Games.

Alberta Winter Games information can be accessed here. All zone box-offs will occur at the Bronze Gloves in Edmonton on Dec. 2 -3, so if you are interested in competing in the Alberta Winter Games, you will need to compete at Bronze Gloves. See the Events page for information about Bronze Gloves.

Changes to the FunBox program

The FunBox age has been dropped to 6 years of age based on actual date of birth.

Youth aged 11, 12, 13, and 14 can participate in FunBox if both coaches consent.

IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING EVENT SANCTIONS:

If you have been awarded a Boxing Alberta sanction or are considering applying to host a card, it is your responsibility to ensure you book a doctor as Boxing Alberta does not supply one. Please visit the Host a Card page for all of the Competition Guidelines.

The 2018 Season starts September 1, 2017.

All accounts are 30 days.

TO REGISTER FOR 2018 AS A COACH OR AN OFFICIAL A CURRENT CRIMINAL RECORD CHECK INCLUDING VULNERABLE SECTOR IS MANDATORY.BOXING ALBERTA CONSIDERS THESE VALID FOR 5 YEARS FROM COMPLETION DATE.

Please note that the turnaround time for Boxing Canada to process applications is 2-3 weeks. Please allow this time for your registrations.

Registrations requested within a week are subject to an additional fee. Contact the office for details.
