Bronze Gloves, in Fernie, BC. The Fernie Old School Boxing Club
is a member of Boxing BC in good standing and Boxing Alberta
clubs and their boxers should not be worried about attending

2012 Sanctions
All future sanctions must be submitted by email, using
the sanction form in the forms section on the Boxing Alberta web site.
This process is set up to forward the competed sanction to the Boxing
Alberta office and the Directors of Competitions and Officials
automatically. When the sanction has been approved it will be put
on the Events Board.
Boxing Canada adopts New Coaching Model
As part of our Coaching development System, the Board of Directors at this years Boxing Canada Semi Annual Meeting in Cornwall, passed the following requirement outline in the table below for all its coaches. This legislation will be phased-in as coaches will be allowed a transition period to January 01, 2013 to attain the required certification.

BOXING CANADA HAS INCREASED THE REGISTRATION FEE
FOR ALL COMPETITORS FOR THE NEW SEASON, THEREFORE ALBERTA WILL ALSO HAVE
AN INCREASE.
CLUB REGISTRATION: Fee $200.00
Please fill out both the Club application form and the Club information
sheet.
COMPETITORS (Junior A thru Senior): Fee $75.00
All competitors require a yearly medical.
Please ensure the application is complete.
COACHES: Fee $75.00
Please indicate your Coaching Certification level.
OFFICIALS: Fee $75.00
Please indicate your level on the application.
INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIPS: Fee $10.00
This membership allows non-competitors to be included in the Liability
Package.

Supplier for Boxing Alberta until 2014.

ongoing support for other provincial Association initiatives.”
Dennis Belair, Executive Director for Boxing Alberta adds, “Full Contact
Sports has been supportive of amateur boxing for years, as Official
suppliers for the 2007 and 2011 Canada Games Boxing Equipment they have
demonstrated an ongoing commitment to provide the best in boxing for
athletes, clubs and associations.” “Boxing Alberta will benefit directly
from all purchases made from our member clubs and athletes.” “As part of
the agreement Boxing Alberta will receive an annual equipment grant from
Full Contact Sports based directly on equipment sales in Alberta.”

Boxing, Combat Sports International and Lonsdale London boxing. FCS Inc
is your source for AIBA certified competition equipment from Everlast
and Adidas as well as US Boxing and CABA approved Lonsdale and Fight
Gear USA competition equipment.

Under the terms of the agreement Boxing Alberta will receive an
equipment grant based on sales to its member clubs. This equipment grant
is in addition to the wholesale direct pricing that Boxing Alberta clubs
receive from Full Contact Sports.
In addition any individual boxers that wish to purchase from Full
Contact Sports should be directed to follow the Affiliate Link on the
Boxing Alberta website as this also contributes to the equipment grant
commissions accumulated by Boxing Alberta.
