The Bronze Gloves tournament is open to male and female boxers of all ages, all experience levels, and all provinces.
The Elite Provincials is open to Alberta only male and female open boxers

All athletes must be registered with Boxing Canada, have a current medical, and be cornered by a certified and registered boxing coach.

Important notes from your Tournament Coordinator:
1) Completely certified coach must be in the corner for every bout. This is the only coach that can be on the apron and in the ring between rounds. Seconds must be a member with Boxing Canada and registered as such. Certified coaches will have an identifiable wrist band that is to be worn all weekend. Seconds may be asked for their names and their registration may be checked via the database. Unregistered members in corners will be removed and clubs reported for violation.
Please, if you’re not on the certified coaches list, make arrangements to have a certified coach in the corner with you. This is mandatory, and I cannot change the list nor add to it. If you’re not on the list, you’re not on it, and I can’t change it. The list is updated by the office every Friday. Click here for the current list.
2) Only active members of Boxing Canada may be in the change area; entourages or parents will be asked to leave.
3) Weigh ins/medicals are from 1330-1430 Friday, 0700-0900 Saturday and 0800-0900 Sunday. It is imperative that weight be made, as this is a tournament. Failure to make weight will result in losing by forfeit, and the bout will be cancelled.
4) Abuse of officials by coaches, athletes, parents or fans will not be tolerated. Coaches are responsible to manage their team, which includes parents. Abusive behavior will result in removal from the facility.
5) Due to the number of bouts, there will be no make up bouts, there are no exceptions to this. We are not able to change the schedule for any reason.
Registered Athlete List – Google Sheets Coaches are responsible to check the schedule often for changes. The schedule online is always up-to-date.
6) Boxers ONLY have to weigh in and medical the day they box.
7) Boxers must have headgear on prior to entering the ring
